Hi, I’m Kaveesha Nirmal

I’m a passionate Computer Science undergraduate and DevOps enthusiast currently pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at the University of Colombo School of Computing with a GPA of 3.74/4.0.

Currently, I’m participating in WSO2’s Linux Systems Administration & DevOps Engineering training program - a 6-month intensive program where I was selected from over 7,000+ applicants for one of only 200 spots available to Sri Lankan participants.

What I Do

I specialize in building scalable full-stack applications with a strong focus on modern web technologies and DevOps practices. My expertise spans from creating secure web applications to implementing cloud-ready backends using contemporary frameworks.

  • DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure: Linux administration, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Full-Stack Development: Next.js, React, React Native, Node.js

  • Full-stack club management platform with Next.js web app and React Native mobile app
  • Features volunteer management, event coordination, QR attendance scanning, and role-based authentication

AideAura (June 2024 – April 2025)

  • On-demand domestic helper platform with intelligent matching algorithms
  • Built with custom PHP MVC framework, multi-role authentication, and PayHere payment integration

ZellMart (Aug 2024 – Oct 2024)

  • E-commerce platform for mobile phones built with MERN stack
